Our Ministry Partners

Our EWFMC Ministry teams work with and support local mission initiatives, like Flower City Work Camp for our teens. And we strive to offer regular outreach events within our community. We also combine our efforts with other local churches to support CareNet Pregnancy Center of Wayne County who provides support before, during, and after unplanned pregnancies; Good News Jail & Prison Ministries; as well as Young Life & Scarlet Thread Ministries, two local ministry organizations who seek to reach our youth.

STACKS: Supporting Teachers And Children with Kits for School is one of our seasonal initiatives. Together we collect and distribute schools supplies to local students, teachers, and schools; lightening the financial burden and helping to prepare for a successful academic year.

And thanks to generous donations, we host the spring and fall Pass-It-On Kids Clothing Swap. Community members can donate their children’s gently used clothing and shoes during the week before the swap, then on Saturday everyone is welcome to come to the swap and take whatever items or sizes their children need. You do not need to donate in order to receive items. All leftover clothing is donated locally.

Global Work

Our Outreach Team, in partnership with other churches and ministries regularly sponsors and coordinates short-term mission trips. Most recently we sent two teams to Haiti to continue rebuilding efforts following the massive earthquake.

As a church we support the work of our Free Methodist Missionaries serving around the world.

We annually create shoebox gifts and care packages for children in third world countries in cooperation with Samaritan's Purse:Operation Christmas Child, and monthly our children financially support a young Haitian girl named Salandie, through International Child Care Ministries.
